This fall season should be fun, but you won’t get your traditional sense of monotone greige goods of color. Rust and teal are predominant heading from summer into the fall season. There will be color pops like something out of the 80′s with a vintage feel. I’m excited for the upcoming looks. Ladies pull your skirts high with a blouse and grab a thick belt for the perfect look. If your pinks or yellows don’t match GOOD! Grab something less bold and make it work from your head piece down to your shoes, and don’t forget the tights. Tacky and fabulous…yes please!

Ladies and gentleman, I know, I know, I know…it has been absolutely forever since the last time I have written a post. At the moment I have all the time in the world and this will serve as my brain child in my idle time. For the past ten years I have always had something on my plate to do as far as work, job, career, or school. Now that I have a degree I can not seem to find anything. There is something severely wrong with this picture! I know the job markets are down, but goodness me I am now seemingly educated, on paper that is, HA! The fashion world admittedly is one that you need to know somebody to get a foot in, and after moving from Los Angeles to Dallas last month, I do not know a soul. How is everybody else faring is this market. Are you flourishing or floundering? Now…some thoughts to make you laugh, no matter how bad our situations are we must remember somebodies is always worse!

I can commonly find my nice things for cheaper, but at Christmas time when asking for gifts I don’t ask for cheap. Whatever Blows Your Skirt Up…

Has anybody noticed recently the down trend of denim. There will always be a necessity for denim, don’t get me wrong, but the “denim dress-up” is on the outs. Within the past three to five years it has been acceptable for denim wearers and lovers to put on a nice pair of denim and step out for the night. Although, for the past year or so the tunic and tights have stepped into that limelight.

Denim is still great for ever day wear, but for an evening look try something a little more feminine. Don’t we all remember when we wanted to be some sort of princess, disney character, or close our eyes and spin in our dress when we were younger? Is there a way to get back to that feeling? Try dress shopping as there is always a dress that can flatter any woman. Denim I can’t say the same for.

It only comes once a year and is to some women the most celebrated day of the year! A UNIVERSAL SALE! Most women jump on it, I on the other hand run from it. Not your typical woman by far, but I still love lavish things. I have expensive taste with, as I’ve heard it coined “champagne dreams and a beer budget.” All this said I ventured, yes I the “Anti-Shopper” ventured to South Coast Plaza in Orange County California on Black Friday. I lasted forty five whole minutes. Then eyes darting, deep breaths, children screaming, women drooling, men dreaming of being home, and me racing for the exit I escaped with a few photos of my favorite items to take with me as a treasure. The names Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, and Louboutin make my mouth water and in the down turn for now that is all it will do.
